Game Dev Lisbon is a collective founded on the idea of local action with international reach. We are exactly what we say: a group of Lisbon based game developers, that want to grow their community reach to more then other devs, opening up the communication doors to the other roles that make our industry flourish.
Our goal is to create a space where connections between different sides of our industry, belonging to different circles, can be developed. By sharing opportunities, goals and knowledge in a professional forum, we hope to promote a safe, engaging and thriving space for debate, growth and showcasing our talent to each other and the world around us.

Join us to know how we survived living in a nerd hotel in the middle of nowhere in Sweden. We will talk about our experience living in Spelkollektivet - a co-living space for game developers from all over the world in the midst of the forests.

The Gang metaverse creations for some of the largest brands in the world.
Speaker: Marcus Holmström

Marcus Holmström is one of the co-founders of one of the leading Metaverse development studios called The Gang. The Gang was founded in 2019 and has since the start created a number of hit titles of their own. The most prominent, Strongman Simulator, has gotten more than 800 million visits since launch. The company is also creating metaverse experiences for some of the world’s largest companies, to mention a few: Vans, Gucci, Spotify, Hasbro and McLaren F1. Marcus has a long and successful track record of building companies in his 25 years’ professional career. To mention a few companies he has been part of he co-founded one of the first digital agencies focusing on search engine marketing back in 1997. He was also part of building up the biggest poker affiliate company in the world.

Graduated in Multimedia Design at the University of Beira Interior and with professional experience in the areas of Design, Marketing and Digital Entertainment since 2013, Luís Nogueira is one of the founders of Digitality Games, a company focused on the development of video games that originated in 2018, in which he assumes the Creative Direction and Project Management.
